It is pos si ble to con trol and eli mi na te wa ter pho bia in se ve ral ways. The best way
is to in tro du ce child with so ur ce of fe ar and, with dif fe rent mo ve ment ac ti vi ti es (ga mes
and exer ci ses), to re a li ze that one can „cha sten wa ter”, and in that way, from very un plea
sant ob ject cre a te ple a su re en vi ron ment. Swim ming te ac her skill ma ni fests in his abi lity
to ni cely ex pla in and de mon stra te all con tacts with wa ter and, in a prac ti cal way, eli mina
