School sport is defined both by legal solutions giving form to the educational
process of primary and secondary schools and by those dealing with sport issues directly.
Importance of school is indicated by the fact that it is the place where sport is
realized within a mass-like and humanist framework with non-commercial base. In view
of high decade-long investments of institutions of the Republic and Province, especially
the City of Novi Sad, into outdoor and indoor facilities for practicing physical
education (sport), as well as high professional and educational level of the personnel
directly involved in this process, one can rightly ask a question: IS SCHOOL A PLACE
OFFERING EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS TO CHILDREN
AND YOUTH?
Searching for an answer to the above question, the paper gives indication of a
number of pupils with bad body posture, a number of abstainers i.e. pupils relieved
from classes of physical education (sport), as well as a number of pupils actively involved
in sports activities at school and clubs of the City. school sport, school teams, sport clubs Školski sport pozicioniran je kako u zakonskim rešenjima koja oblikuju vaspitnoobrazovni
proces osnovne i srednje škole, tako i onim koja se neposredno bave pitanjima
sporta. Značaj koji škola ima prepoznat je u činjenicu da je to mesto u kome sport
ima masovni i humanistički izraz zasnovan na nekomercijalnoj osnovi. Obzirom na
ogromna višedecenijska ulaganja republičkih i pokrajinskih institucija, a posebno Grada
Novog Sada u otvorene i zatvorene objekte za realizaciju nastave fizičkog vaspitanja
(sporta), kao i visok stručno-pedagoški nivo osposobljenosti kadrova koji neposredno
izvode navedenu nastavu s pravom se postavlja pitanje «DA LI JE ŠKOLA MESTO
KOJE PRUŽA JEDNAKE MOGUĆNOSTI U SPORTSKOM STVARALAŠTVU
DECE I MLADIH».
U traganju za odgovorom na postavljeno pitanje ukazano je na broj učenika koje
karakteriše loše držanje tela, broj apstinenata – učenika oslobođenih od nastave fizičkog
vaspitanja (sporta), kao i broj učenika aktivno uključenih u sportske aktivnosti
škole i klubova na teritoriji grada. školski sport, školske sekcije, sportski klubovi
