Morphological characteristics are very important for the realization of situational
- motor structure of sports events. They are the biomechanical basis, as factors
that facilitate or hamper the performance of the task.
Our aim was to determine the relationship of morphological characteristics and
situational - motor skills in football. The sample consisted of 155 students the first and
second year of study Faculty of Physical Education and Sports University in Tuzla,
aged 19 to 22 years. The sample measures and tests consisted of 20 morphological measures
and 9 tests for the evaluation of situational - motor abilities.
Results showed that the morphological characteristics affecting the majority of
situational - motor tasks, but their influence vary by the size and direction. Research
data provide information that can be used in the selection, forecasts, as well as planning
