Students spend a larger portion of your time in studying and preparing for the- ir future profession and occupation. Since professional status and influence will be on all other aspects of their lives (financial status, social status, choice of friends, etc.). Is extremely important that students during the study to be aware of the importance of the- ir profession, because it will help them to successfully end the study commenced. The differences in performance are linked with the fundamental human characteristics such as abilities, skills, knowledge, motivation, etc. Given the Bologna process, the socio-eco- nomic conditions markedly that students do not have clear knowledge about their futu- re profession. For this reason, we have conducted research with the aim to investigate whether there is a difference in self-performance among students of social science and bio-tehnical area of science. The study also participated students of Kinesiology and Agriculture faculty at the University of Zagreb, who are representatives of the mentio- ned areas of science. Surveyed the 374 students (46.25% female student). Applied the anonymous questionnaire of 12 statements that students are assessed on the scale of 1 to
5, where 1 indicates “completely false “ 5 “completely true “.
The results showed that the surveyed students differ in assessing the performance of self-efficacy to gender and the area of science. Pearson χ2 analysis showed statisti- cally significant difference in the variables applied given the gender and faculty students, self-efficacy, motivation
