Abstract

In the framework of my final thesis “The attitude of pupils towards the values of football at the elementary school in Mali Iđoš” an inquiry was made among children from fifth to eighth grade. In the inquiry 128 pupils were involved; the research was done at “Ady Endre” Elementary School in Mali Iđoš, in May 2006. In the research systematic non-experimental method was applied, from the experimental techniques questionnaire and scaling was used. As a tool of inquiry the closed type of questionnaire was applied and the descriptive type of the valuation scale. The topic of the research is very significant both from social and from scientific aspects. From the wide social point of view the results could contribute to the success of the future actions that have the aims to improve the propagation of football between children and adults. From scientifical aspect there is a need to study the relation between sociocultural acts and sport activities of children in a more direct way. In relation to the same researches, with the data of this research, it is possible to ensure prerequisites for better and more successful work with children on the field of football education.
