THE INFLUENCE OF MATERIAL-TECHNICAL CONDITIONS ON SPEED MEASUREMENT OF FEMALE STUDENTS IN LOWER PRIMARY SCHOOL GRADES
UTICAJ MATERIJALNO-PROSTORNIH USLOVA PRI PROCENI BRZINE UČENICA MLAĐEG ŠKOLSKOG UZRASTA

The goal of this research was to determine the influence of material-technical
conditions on speed evaluation of female students in lower primery school grades, in
the conditions of most frequent floors (grass, asphalt, parquet). The research was realized
in primary school “Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj” in Svilajnac, republic of Serbia in the
first term of 2009/2010 school year. The sample consisted of 45 female students in fourth
grade of primary school. The speed of female students was evaluated by the use of
two standardized movement tasks: a 30 meter running from high start and shuttle running
3x10 meters. For the evaluation of the results the following methods were used:
descriptive statistics, multivariant analysis of the variance, discriminative analysis and
univariant analysis of the variance. The results indicate statistically significant differences
of the results of female students for both researched variables in relation to the
floor. The results enable more adequate planning and content realization of physical
education in lower grades of primary school. influence, material-technical conditions, speed, lower grade students
